A high-quality antique Chinese porcelain 'Mandarin Rose' medallion vase, featuring garden scenes surrounded by floral patterns. The vase’s handles are gilded and sculpted in the form of 'foo dogs,' while the neck is adorned with gilded dragons. Originating from China and dating back to the mid-19th century (Qing Dynasty), this bottle-shaped vase possesses an elegant silhouette, making it a striking focal point in both modern and traditional interiors.

Dimensions:
Height: 45,7cm
Diameter mouth: 7,6cm
Diameter bottom: 14,4cm

Condition:
The vase is in a very good condition for a 19th century Mandarin vase. However, there is a professional restoration on the heads and claws of two dragons. This is limited to one side; on the other side of the vase, these dragons are in perfect condition. One of the photos shows the vase under UV light, which clearly reveals the restoration. The restoration is not extensive—it concerns only the heads and claws of these dragons (the UV light highlights a larger area because the restoration had to be 'blended out' to ensure it integrated seamlessly with the original colors). The restoration was carried out professionally, making it barely visible to the naked eye.

Every item we sell has been carefully checked for any damages and restorations. We make use of UV light to check this properly. Good packaging and shipped with a tracking number.
