Antique Chinese ginger jar decorated with red foo dogs // Republic period (1912-1949)

An antique porcelain ginger jar decorated with red foo dogs at the frontside, and Chinese calligraphies at the backside. The ginger jar is made in China and dates from the Republic period (1912-1949).

Height: 31cm
Height without lid: 26,4cm
Diameter mouth: 8,5cm
Diameter bottom: 12,5cm

Condition:
The ginger jar is in a good condition considering its age. At the mouth opening, there is a chip to the rim. In the drawing of the red foo dog, there is a production flaw (see detailed picture). The wooden lid has signs of useage and wear. No other damages or restorations found (UV checked).
