Large XL antique Japanese plate decorated with sages // Meiji period - 19th century

A large XL antique hexagonal plate decorated with sages reading a scroll. The scene is surrounded with butterflies, birds and flower patterns. The plate is made in Japan and dates from the end of the 19th century (Meiji period).

Condition:
The plate is in a good condition. At the rim, there is one chip and two minuscule flea bites. No other damages or restorations found (UV checked).
