An antique porcelain ginger jar decorated with two Gods of Fortune Fu and Shou, watching over children. At the backside, the ginger jar is decorated with Chinese calligraphies which are representing a poem. The jar is made in China and dates from the Republic period (1912-1949).

Dimensions:
Height: 31cm
Height without lid: 27cm
Diameter mouth: 8,5cm
Diameter bottom: 13,3cm

Condition:
The ginger jar is in a very good condition. Unfortunately, there is a baking flaw at the inside of the jar which is also visible on the outside (please look at the detailed picture of the God of Fortune, the flaw is visible there). The flaw cannot be felt at the outside and cannot be seen with UV light. The lid of the jar is not the original one which is a very common issue with this type of jars. It does fit, but there is a slight colour difference between them. No (other) damages or restorations found (UV checked).

Every item we sell has been carefully checked for any damages and restorations. We make use of UV light to check this properly. Good packaging and shipped with a tracking number.
