An antique porcelain ginger jar decorated with a garden scene at the frontside, and chinese calligraphies at the backside. The ginger jar is made in China and dates from the Republic Period (1912-1949).

Condition:
The ginger jar is in a lesser condition. At the body, there are two star-shaped hairlines. At the bottom, there is also a star-shaped hairline. There is a chip to the lid. This lid is not the original one but a replacement which is a very common issue with Chinese ginger jars that are made during the Republic period. No other damages or restorations found (UV checked).
