An antique porcelain ginger jar decorated with figures including a child riding a water buffalo. At the backside, the ginger jar is decorated with Chinese calligraphies which are representing a poem. The ginger jar is made in China and dates from the Republic Period (ROC: 1912-1949).

Height without lid: 26,6cm
Diameter mouth: 8,8cm
Diameter bottom: 13,4cm
Condition:
The ginger jar is in a reasonable condition considering its age. At the mouth, there is a small hairline which is created during the baking process. At the bottom, there are several glaze lines. The lid of the jar is not the original one which is a common problem for this type of jars. This lid has got a chip at the rim.
Every item we sell has been carefully checked for any damages and restorations. We make use of UV light to check this properly. Good packaging and shipped with a tracking number.
