The vases are made in China and date from the end of the 19th century (Qing Dynasty). Although this is a pair, there are some minor differences in the design and the color of the celadon. Vase 1 is in excellent condition without any damage or restorations, but there is a flaw in the firing process of this vase causing it to be slightly discolored (dark celadon and small imperfections in the glaze). Vase 2 is in poorer condition. This vase features a hairline crack on the back and a hairline crack on the base.
