Antique Chinese famille rose spittoon vase for the Peranakan market // Qing Dynasty - 19th century
An antique Chinese famille rose spittoon decorated with roses and birds including a phoenix, surrounded with floral patterns on a pink background. The type of Nyonya ware was originally created for the Peranakan in the British straits. They are well-searched by collectors of this type of porcelain. The spittoon is in a perfect condition, but there is a flaw at the top rim. For more information, please ask us for more pictures.

Antique Chinese crackleware vase with celadon glazed neck and bottom // Qing Dynasty - 19th century
A Chinese crackleware, also known as 'Nanking ware', vase with handles decorated as branches with blossoms. The upper and lower part have been overglazed with a brown and jade-colored glaze. This crackleware vase is in a perfect condition with normal flaws which were common for this type of vases from the 19th century period.

Antique Chinese famille rose vase with a warrior scene and an Imperial court scene // Qing Dynasty - 19th century
A Chinese famille rose vase with a warrior scene at the frontside, and an Imperial scene at the backside. The painting of this vase was done properly with some nice details in the painted scenes. They are surrounded with birds and floral patterns. The vase is in a good condition but got some chips to the body rim and one chip to the bottom rim. Same style as the vase before in this list, the painting on this Chinese famille rose vase is of a bit lesser quality than the first (lesser details). However, it is still well executed. The vase is in a very good condition with some minor fritting to the top rim (small baking flaws which were created during the baking process)

A very well-painted Mandarin bottle vase with Imperial scenes surrounded with flowers, fruits, books and scrolls. The quality of this vase is above average. The vase is in an excellent condition. We acquired this vase from a family that imported antique Chinese vases into Belgium during the 1950s. Until it came into our possession, the vase had been kept safe for decades in a wooden crate in the shop's attic.

Large antique Chinese polychrome vase with figures and Chinese calligraphies // Republic Period (1912-1949)
A large Chinese polychrome vase decorated with a scene depicting a lady which is offering help to the traveler. The backside is decorated with Chinese calligraphies which are representing a poem. The painting is very detailes, especially the face of the traveler. The vase has an elegant shape with well-executed handles. The condition of the vase is very good, with one minuscule chip to the top rim of the vase (which is smaller than 1 milimeter). Large antique Mandarin rose medallion vase decorated with Imperial festive scenes // Qing Dynasty - Middle of the 19th century
A rare antique Chinese Mandarin rose medallion vase richly decorated with Imperial scenes surrounded with flower patterns, butterflies and antique treasures. Same as with the Mandarin bottle vase, we came into possession of this vase from the same family, found in the same attic as the
Mandarin bottle vase which is also in this list. Apart from the fact that these vases are quite rare, finding one in excellent condition is extremely rare. Most of these vases were already restored when they were originally exported to Europe and America. This vase is an exception. It was exported to Belgium in perfect condition and stored there for decades in the attic of a shop. The result: A vase in perfect condition with little to no wear to the enamel. If you are a collector or an enthusiast of antique Mandarin rose medallion vases, this is the one you should buy.
